Latest PUBG update breaks replays on PC but fixes the Miramar map a little

PUBG Corp. has rolled out an update to the PC version of the popular battle royale title, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG). This latest release makes some changes to the Miramar map, which has frustrated a portion of the player base with the lack of cover in places and few off-road routes for vehicle navigation.

The full release notes:

  • Added more buildings and cover across the map to improve the engagement experience.
  • Added more off-road routes for easier vehicle navigation.
  • Upgraded the item spawn level of certain areas for loot balancing (some areas will spawn better loot).

But that’s not all. The team has managed to break saved replays, thanks to moving to a new system. All your previous matches and clutch chicken dinner wins are now lost, which is a shame. But hey, at least Miramar has received a few improvements.
